Wisdom teeth coming out tomorrow!

I heard it can go good, and I heard it can go bad.

Getting all 4 removed, top 2 coming in straight, bottom 2 not so straight.. All are impacted ( meaning under the gums - correct? )

Don't want it to move my bottom teeth so I am thrilled to get them out!



Can't wait to eat some perks!

UPDATE: Went probably as good as it could have.. Feeling a little sore now, just took couple perks.. We shall see from here.

it really wasn't so bad when i had it done. i also had all 4 of them taken out at once. just don't try to eat anything hard for 24-48 hours. try to get some sleep b/c the pain pills will make you dizzy and confused.

after that enjoy, ice cream and having ppl bring you food

I think the biggest thing I am worried about is the needle..

I'm pretty vascular (sp) so they can stick me in multiple places.

I hope it's bloody and painful during, and bleeding and swelling after. That's what you'll get w/ a sucky doc. It can get done in 15 minutes and you won't notice a thing. Novacaine as pain killer. No swelling afterward, no pain, a little itchy. Wound heals in a few days. Ain't no thang. That's what you'll get w/ a really good doc, which is what happened in my case.

The worst part is the morning after and the swelling. It's not bad at all, or I just got lucky.

2 percs == bliss.

They don't really do anything about the pain, they just make you not care anymore.

Good luck. They had to crack my bottom right wisdom into three pieces because the sh!tty doc couldn't get it out in one piece. But eh, it didnt hurt since they numbed me up good. But the nurse was freakin out when they were doing it.

It's one or the other, but not both. Let them know before they cut you up.

My doctor didn't want to give me gas, I forget why. Plus, it will cost a lot more. But then again I took a friend to get her wisdom teeth removed and they put the gas on her since she is deathly afraid of needles.

I had gas, then the IV, then I woke up high as a kite. It was great!

They will give you gas if you ask for it, you usually have to ask, though. And most insurance companies don't pay for it

Edit: At my denist it is like 15 bucks for teh gas, and he gives me gas then the shot.

I did it under local anasthesia only, but then again I'm hardcore like that.

It was only $50 a tooth
