Are you sure you know who you're talking about here? The guy makes up facts and figures for his "arguements."

That's because a lot of them ARE 14 (and some are even younger), as young girls are more supple when they are young, and become more rigid as they get older, so they are at their prime at early teens. The oldest I've seen so far in the "women's" competition is probably 17-18, but males tend to compete in more than 1 games.

Confused

Nope, they have to turn 16 in the year of the Olympics. So the youngest that you see are 15 and will be 16 this year.

They do look like they are 10-12, but they can't be.

I know this is NOT P&N, but some may enjoy these comments by Rush Limbaugh:

Bob Costas Ruins Olympic Moment

RUSH: Just have to destroy the moment. Now, what I've always been told about the Olympics is that it unites the world for these two weeks, politics takes a back seat, is not even there.

That's historically inaccurate.
Politics have been a shadowy element of the games since their inception. Only a fool would claim differently.

The IDEAL is that the games be apolitical. Costas was an ass.

I am SO glad I watched it in HD so I didn't have to listen to his crap.

Oh, I agree completely, it's just that it's silly to claim what he did was unprecedented. It's more likely that a nation and its envoys will use the games to gain political leverage thatn not. Costas, the egocentric fvck, probably thought he was making a topical and important commentary. One can only imagine what the Chinese are saying...

The ones who said that have been smoking a lot of the herbs.

I like bob costas a lot. I didn't see that opening ceremony but the quote from the rush article didn't seem out of place at all. Politics has a lot to do with the olympics historically... anyone who says otherwise would need to do some mighty fine arguing to not seem a bit loopy in the area between the ears.

Okay, back to the OP.

How was pr0n shown??? Are you being literal as in a "costume malfunction" or just referring to see-through leotards???

Maybe we can have them wear burkha's?

For Gods sake they are children.

I don't think it is porn either (and I am 100% in support of porn). But the OPs idea that it is "close to porn" is pretty accurate.

That said, many of them are NOT children (US team has a 25 year old). Many people get, um, excited by movements just like the gymnysts make if it was done in any other context. And their outfits couldn't be any more revealing.

Tell me what you think a man (even a sick disgusting man) could think about the third picture from the top (parallel bars).

I believe so. Do you listen to O'Reilly? I avoided listening to him for precisely what you're saying: I thought he was Limbaugh'esque, a fanatic, etc.

He quotes his sources, so I don't for a moment think he fabricates them; however, the truth value of his words are not what concerns me; rather, I simply appreciate that he justifies his positions. If he has a position he explains, in a critical manner, precisely why he holds that position.

Maybe she could have on leg warmers so as to not expose her legs and make men weak and horny?

For God's sake, you have to put your legs up higher than the bar or else you will be eating mat.

You'd have a point if you had any proof.

Yes you have to do that to perform the gymnastics move. However, the fact that it is necessary doesn't make it erotic to some. Covering the legs wouldn't help the problem. Thicker underwear maybe. That particular shot doesn't show much detail, but others I've seen don't leave much to the imagination. I can't count how many people who've told me they'd love to see a woman in that pose...
