No it wasn't obiously the site proves colour film existed during the war. Colour film existed before they shot
Wizard of OZ (1939). My memory is a bit fuzzy (its been a few years since my A/V and Communicatons Class), but I belive the fist colour moving pictures were taken in circa 1931. World War II in Europe was from 1938 to 1945 and the USA did not become fully involed untill Adolph Hitler declaired war against the USA on December 8, 1941.
