I do not think this picture does give you any idea. Here is a pic of my town in '45

99% of the city center were destroyed, the goal to incenerate the civialian population by generating a firestorm (Darmstadt was the test city for that tactic) was met.

Neither industrial or military targets nor Railroad tracks (at the outskirts of the city) were damaged in the attack - but that was not the aim...

I also don't think that picture is of Germany, but I am not an expert and could be wrong. It appears to be a very small town possibly France, maybe Denmark? I am sure that you are a better expert than I am on the subject of Euopean cities and small towns.

EDIT: What I meant in the post with the photo is that before most of Europe was destroied, it might have looked something like that.

I found a video on putfile.com; I cannot tell what is going on but the foliage of live oaks with spanish moss, palmetto bushes, and queen palms in sandy soil make it look like the video was shot in Florida.

That shows how little you may know about Islam. Muhammed himself said that he was taking instructions from the devil. He told his followers when talking about god that the Devil Made him do it. (I will find the scripture)

If this were 1938 in the Dawn of World War II before the US was involved, I would certainly be giving the Brittish flag just as much support as the US flag. I don't mean to sound self centered or arrogant, but if it werent for the USA, you would be waving a differant flag over Buckingham Palace and certainly the queen mum would not be around today. What Adolf Hitler wrote in 1925's mein kampf and the laxed reaction to it by people of Europe with the series of events that followed have many parallels to what is happened with Bin Laden in the early 1990's; he too wrote about what he was going to do and no one really too him serious untill he started to act on his publicly made plans to take over and attack. The world in 19333-1936 said 'we should try to make peace with him and give him what he wants' and 'lets sit and talk with Hitler' as we all know that did not work. Like the world did in 1933-38 and just sat around not really caring about what was happening (Darfur?) thinking nothing bad will happen the same exact thing is happening today with the "War on Terror".

The contemproary times we live in are a mirror image of what happened 70+ years ago before the German Invasion of Poland

My guess is the picture was taken in Greece or possibly Sicily. That architecture is typical in both areas. I would actually guess Sicily more than Greece.
