Generally, I just refuse to drink bad coffee. I'll wait until I get home, because my espresso is among the best I have ever had (See for yourself--sorry, bad picture). I did have a lot of absolutely insipid pseudo-cappuccinos while in Germany. In the smaller towns they used a lot of instant nonsense, and I still have nightmares about it.

If you really think that then you haven't been around much.

Pretty much all coffee served in the US. Gotta make it myself to make it taste good. For some reason the coffee here is very weak and watered down.
Any kind of flavored coffee is nasty too.

I stick to Millstone, it's good.

Dunkin Donuts = one of the best when it comes to 'fast coffee to drink in the car' style.

some sort of special roast stuff at Circle K. I don't mind their "house blend" crap, but that special roast garbage made me want to gag.

Here at work it smells/tastes like burnt also. Like one minute after I make it too.

i once had mystery rewarmed coffee too. bad idea. coffee = very oily... oil go rancid ick. never ever rewarm coffee. excessive heat from microwave makes coffee flavour go bad too, just as it can during brewing which is why u use water off the boil, not boiling water to make coffee. coffee is finicky.

I tried this concentrated liquid stuff not too long ago. It's basically an ultra concentrated coffee solution you put into hot water. Absolutely terrible, and this was from a company trying to start out marketing this stuff.

When I was in the service.

They would make a pot in the morning and it would sit and cook down all day.

Which would have been ok if they used decent coffee...

My favorite is Millstone Foglifter and Breakfast Blend. I get the whole beans, keep in freezer, and grind at home right before brewing.
Exxon Tigermart has good coffee too, esp. the Breakfast Blend.
