Worst. Movie. EVER.

Oh my god I saw Matrix Revolutions last night and it sucked horribly.
It made me miss the long speeches from Reloaded
first 30 minutes started off so-so but then for a whole hour after that, and throughout the whole movie, occasional cutting to different, 2 minute scenes, was a long stupidass machines vs Humans battle where it consisted of the General guy in a mech suit going 'NOOOOOOOO' Shooting a machine gun for an hour.
Oh god and the ending.
Highly dissapointed.
Matrix just went down hill from the first movie.

Yea I think they got progressively worse. But 1 and 2 were pretty good.

Worst movie I've seen recently would have to be Beowulf. I'm usually pretty forgiving for these types of movies (Conan the Barbarian ftw!), but god that movie sucked. Movies should be required by law to put in warning notices if they include any Jar Jar-esque voice acting.

Two that come to mind are Unbreakable and Queen of the Damned (w/ Aliyah before her plane crashed)...

can't believe that someone actually watched the film after it was completed and said 'yup, looks good, send it out!!!"...

edit: i think the matrix movies all stink, with #3 being the most foul, comparable to a dumpster behind a supermarket in august.

Fixed for ya. I originally blamed its awfulness on the excessively long rave scene, but the more I think about it the more I realize the whole movie was just bad. Nothing like watching a 30 minute GM commercial. I hated the special effects as well (the trucks colliding, him flying at the end, the super extra slow motion Trinity falling out of the building crap). Fighting the Agent Smiths (hey, I'll needlessly fight them for several minutes and then just fly away).

I actually liked the 3rd one ok. It was much more like the first movie than the second, at least to me. I haven't watched it a second time though so it very well might be just as bad as the second one. Of course it still suffered from some of the same issues the second one did (the special effects had become a joke by this point, just being put in for no real reason, such as the ultra slow motion and goofy fist to the face late in the movie).

Yea. Death Proof had like 15 minutes worth of decent footage in it. It was mostly just a bore fest.

Now, Planet Terror was good, but for LOL value they had the missing reel gag in the most action packed part of the movie, which was a really stupid move. They should have lost 3 or 4 reels in Death Proof to make it watchable, heh.

300. So highly over-rated, so unrealistic, not even close to describing the events it attempted to portray. If I were going to rate a movie for it's low quality based upon hype it would win hands down.

True, but SciFi does have a few good series far better than The Matrix.

Worst movie I've ever watched is The Royal Tennenbaums. I honestly don't know how other's were able to like this movie, I was bored beyond belief. Honorable mentions are Full Frontal and Timecode. Ugh...

You do realize its it not meant to be realistic at all, right? It is based on a graphic novel, that should've tipped you off. As for hype, I would say that movie had more negative hype than anything (I think Brokeback Mountain had less gay jokes made about it). Of course, I can't really say anything about how good it is as I have not seen it, but realism is not something you should have expected of it.

I agree that Royal Tennenbaums is easily worse than any of the Matrix movies.

OP, if the 3rd Matrix movie is the worst you've seen, you're lucky.

Every dime spent on the majority of the crap that SciFi puts on their channel is money that could have gone towards a Wolf Lake episode (they own it now, I think(.

I liked all 3, but liked the 2nd the least.

#1) awesome
#2) filler, but moved the story along somewhat
#3) a fitting conclusion that answered all questions

I would hope so, since the budget for the Matrix movies is probably bigger than all the movies Sci Fi has ever made combined.

Pretty much, Keanu Reeves sucks. He is the most no-talent actor I've ever seen that got this big.

Transformers had the worst story of any movie I've seen in years. It was just so disjointed and thrown together. It almost seemed like the director was just making it up on the fly.

300 was pretty bad too.

Matrix 2 and 3 both sucked horribly. What the hell was that fight at the end anyway? Smith and Neo just keep smashing into each other in some kind of perverted attempt to mate?

Matrix Revolutions is far from the worst movie ever. Try watching Ultraviolet sometime. Er, no, on second thought... don't. Matrix Revolutions and Transformers are ultra-high quality cinema compared to that POS.

Supposedly, that was some bizarre rumor that was started by some media ho entertainment rag to sell subscriptions. Which wouldn't surprise me in the least.

I'm just tired, don't mind me for ranting, I just don't get why most of you guys are only posting new movies, as there are a ton of older ones that TANKED BADLY!
