Bring It On Again!

Seriously though, all three matrix movies are pretty high up there when you consider some of the garbage that is actually out there.

Edit: Epic Movie... almost forgot about that trash...

The last Alien vs Predator movie Requiem was one of the worst movies I have seen lately.
It has so many problems that I don't think it even deserves to be part of the series.

Terrible story lines.
Just a bunch of random fight scenes.

I can see why Ridley Scott didn't want any part of it.

Wow, you people haven't seen a lot of movies to see some really bad ones.... It seems your idea of a bad movie is Movie_1 > Sequel_1, therefore Sequel_1 = worst movie evar!

To me, for a movie to be absolutely horrible, I have to get in pain during the movie... mental anguish from actually sitting through the movie. I've seen a couple movies like this. National Lampoon's Pledge This! was a very bad movie. It starred Paris Hilton for one and I don't know what it was, but I literally wanted to stab myself in the head many times during the movie. The Comebacks was also a very, very bad movie. Nothing is worse than yet another spoof movie that is so lame and not funny that you wish you could stab the writers in the head. The only redeeming value of the movie was the hot Indian (dot not feather) chick and the coach's daughter .

A couple dishonorable mentions are Ultraviolet... the movie had horrid acting, a bad script and was absolutely boring to watch. Another is The Ten. This movie presented these stories based on the ten commandments yet they weren't funny... there was no hawt lovin' scenes during "Thou Shall Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Wife" (very disappointing IMO)... in fact, that mini-story actually dealt with gay relationships in prison....

I can't really think of any more movies at this point as I think I try to put them out of my mind.

I had hope for Ultraviolet from the director's work on Equilibrium. Too bad I agree that it was horrible

I hated Flyboys. I don't think I have seen a more predictable high budget movie - ever.

Jason X was also bad, but in a good way as you see that kind of movie expecting that

Bloodrayne is the queen of all crappy movies. Everything mentioned in this thread is Lawrence of Arabia compared to that mind-numbing crapfest.

Reloaded kicked major ass. Some of the greatest lines written were in that film.

you must be joking. it was the most poorly-written script...ever

Yea I think they got progressively worse. But 1 and 2 were pretty good.

progressively? there were only 3. and you like the first 2...

Fixed for ya. I originally blamed its awfulness on the excessively long rave scene, but the more I think about it the more I realize the whole movie was just bad. Nothing like watching a 30 minute GM commercial. I hated the special effects as well (the trucks colliding, him flying at the end, the super extra slow motion Trinity falling out of the building crap). Fighting the Agent Smiths (hey, I'll needlessly fight them for several minutes and then just fly away).

Exactly.

the sad thing is, most people don't understand now BS like this makes a potentially decent movie like the Matrix fail, miserably. I almost took off a shoe and chucked it at the screen during the needless rave scene. Then almost chucked another one during agent smith and during that incredibly trite dialogue with the computer guy at the end. So many people think these movies are smart, but it's nothing but fluff hidden in meaningless drivel. it seems that because many don't understand what is being spoken in these films, and that it "sounds" smart...it must be. The premise is old as hell, which is fine, and worked for the first Matrix film...then it just parodied itself after that.

True, but SciFi does have a few good series far better than The Matrix.

Worst movie I've ever watched is The Royal Tennenbaums. I honestly don't know how other's were able to like this movie, I was bored beyond belief. Honorable mentions are Full Frontal and Timecode. Ugh...

The Royal Tennenbaums kicks ass.

I laugh at your sense of humor

I can agree with this. Only a testament to how bad Ultraviolet truly is...

What no Mano's Hands of Fate?

There are lots of bad movies, easily 75% of all movies fall into the bad catagory. Its those movies that are so bad that makes you think "what were they thinking?" Bad scripts, plot holes, horrible acting, etc... all combine to make horrible flicks. Movies that make wince.

I submit: Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever. Bad acting, bad writing, bad plot, plot holes. Just a bad movie. Ironically the GameBoy Advance game, was good.

I would have suggested Gigli, but i never saw it....just heard.

the best movie no one (well, mostly no one) has ever heard of is "the quiet earth".

Thought I'd mix it up a bit.

He Was a Quiet Man, 2007, with Christian Slater and William H Macy. Great actors in a truly worthless movie.

In no particular order:

1) Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever
2) 3000 Miles to Graceland
3) Freddie Got Fingered
4) Glitter
5) Battlefield Earth
6) Dungeons & Dragons
7) Swept Away
8) Waterworld

There's 8 off the top of my head .. if you watched any from beginning to the end, you have my sympathy.

I just watched Pathfinder the other day... It was set in America somewhere and sometime before Columbus came to America. The movie was shot with awful lighting. The acting was laughable. The Indians spoke English, but the Viking's who came to America spoke some other language. Why would you subtitle one language but not another. The Viking's made grunt noises a lot and even sounded like a Rhino at one point. One of them actually screams like an eagle when he spots the main character running away. At that point me and my friends watching it all started laughing uncontrollably. Overall terrible movie, and quite possibly the worst movie I've seen in years.

I also should add that Batman & Robin, with Arnold Schwarzenegger was a flipping agonizing. All copies that unfortunately remain in existence should be torn, ripped up, crushed, burned, ashes swept into a sealed container then should be sunk to the bottom of the deepest ocean. Batman & Robin Funny Review This review does the horridness of this movie justice which I can't express very well due to my terrible writing skills.

Need to add, "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End".
Watched or tried to watch it last night. It was all I could do to stay awake.

I have to say, I had high expectations for "Shoot 'em up" and the only other time I can think of being more let down was when I went to see "The Day After Tomorrow" in the theaters. Shoot 'em up I had rented so I pretty much just left it on while a was on AT, "The Day After Tomorrow" I sat through in the theater and was constantly checking my watch.

I am sure there are more I can think of...but these are two standouts.

I had very low expectations for Shoot 'Em Upand yet was still dissapointed. What a snooze fest.

I concur The Day After Tomorrow was also poor but more like just standard Hollywood poor rather than amongst the worst.

Transporter 2 was laughably bad also.

I am still trying to figure out a few things:

1. How does a barge get pushed straight down a street? How did it turn a corner?

2. How can you run away from cold?

3. How come cold air can't get through the cracks in a library door?

4. Why can't the cold air come down into the wendy's?

I am normally not a "wow this isn't realistic" type of guy...but this movie was just a bit too rediculous.

As for Shoot 'em up....I have no idea what they were going for. I guess it was supposed to be funny....but it wasn't at all.
