Worst SLI review ever

yes. you could get an Ultra mobo or the SLI mobo. if you get the SLI mobo, don't turn on SLI. simply toss in 2 PCI-E cards that have dual outputs and hook up 4 displays and set up how you want it to look.

the ability to have 4 diplays is NOT a function of SLI. it's a function of dual PCI-E slot motherboards, which the nForce4 SLI boards have, but so do the Ultras, which should be around $50 cheaper.

Wow. I've never read a review so bad, that Walmart could put out something more meaningful. I would trust nVidia's marketing department more than I would trust a site like that :roll:. Worst of all he can't do 7th grade math correctly . Check out this review of the FX-55 getting beaten by the 4000+ in one benchmark, written by the same insightful person. All he does is synthetic tests.

He notes the exact differences between the 3DMark scores in "over clocking" and gives us most likely wrong precentages. Very helpful indeed. How does this site even get stuff from companies?

i know it's horrible, i read it because some of their reviews are decent (well, they make a new one every other month...), but this one was horrible...

BTW: Make sure not to get sli if you havent already maxed out ur CPU yet...(ya, u can max out any cpu by just getting one 6800...)

you'll never get a straight answer from gigabyte. i dont know about the other two, but gigabyte has always run me around in cirlces when it came to tech support.

my k8nsnsxp-939 was bsod all over the place, they told me it couldn't run my ram at 200mhz, only 166... it was 2 sticks of corsair valueram... they gave me a bogus chart for a socket 754 processor and circled the number 166.. i told em it was BS, they said "yeah, yeah, we're sorry about that. you're ram isn't compatible." i told them THAT was BS. They sent me a compatibility list with about 3 types of ram on it. i told them that was BS. finally, they said "ok ok the ram should work with your board. why don't you try this stuff..."

it took them 2 weeks to finally get around to tech support me instead of feeding me BS

though the ultra only has one 16x slot right

and also sorry to bug but would i be able to have one as an over head display if so how
