Worth of waiting?

As the new motherboard for AMD processor, Asus A8V Deluxe that sport Socket 939 for the new AMD FX-53 socket 939, but unfortunetely no motherboard can be found that support both socket 939 and PCI express.

will the motherboard that support both feature (Sct 939 and PCIe) worth of waiting?

any ideas when they going to release it?

Not that I've heard of. But I did hear some rumors that the NF4 would support one or maybe even 2 PCI express slots.

Not worth waiting... I just calcutated (with mechbgon's help) my bus speed and my PCI-X 64-bit 133 mhz bus is the equivalent of the PCI-express 4x slots. Except Intel is only putting the PCI-express 1x slots in EXCEPT 1 for the video in the new motherboards. I will stick with my socket 940 (in progress) solution....

i just realized that i have to wait for ATI Radeon X800 XT PE (PCI Express Ed), and i dont know when thats going to released too.

just wait for the new Nforce chipset to come out in a couple of months.

If I was going to upgrade soon, that is what I would do.

pci-e wont be out anytime soon for amd, so its not worth waiting. even now, pci-e isnt worth it itself.
