Yes, just the last patch updated it. It is now a pretty negligable cost for warriors to repair their gear.

Potions are very expensive... and it sucks. I save mine from farming and use them sparingly.

Nah, still expensive as hell with epic gear.
It's cheaper, but remember that the cost is the same per durability, and plate gear typically has a lot more durability, so on a per death basis a warr is still more expensive.

Tru dat. That 10% penalty on the larger numbers just means a bigger hit. I just get scared if I die one and I notice gear lighting up yellow in the middle of an instance. I had some bracers at 2/30 at the end of one run last night. But I had already hit 40 so I hearthed after that run.

I really don't use potions other than hairy pvp situtions and bosses in instances. I still have almost 20 health potions left from my buddy. Though I usually come back for more mana potions. As healths are chugged for a last ditch effort not to be killed. I've only used a few manas in pvp.

I still find it negligable. Making money in WoW isn't hard. Grind for one hour and you can make a good 30g or so. Now that these new repair costs went down, you'd be hard pressed to spend over 5g for a fully destroyed suit of armor.

Only a few pieces of armor have more Durability for warriors... Staff Versus 2H Axe = Same Durability, same applies for a Robe/Breastplate. A few peices are lower, but many are the same accross all the classes.

Yeah, considering half the damage moonfire does is over time! silly druid

I love shapeshifting. I generally fight in all 3 forms in instances, in the world and in pvp.

The only thing I hate about moonfire is that it's a DoT.

DoTs are my death cause I can't restealth.

I've actually thought about a combat build, but ATM my Imp Sap and combo/energy generation is just too important to give up. (well, for PVE, and at my lvl it's still a PVE Grind)

Heh, even now if I'm at 10% or lower I spend 10-15g easily
A full evening of tries on new bosses can easily set me back 25-30G.

And a Might plate still has way more durability than a Prophecy chest.

I've never actually entered a WSG game from the portal in Ashenvale, I always enter it in IF. There's battlemasters there for the three battlegrounds, you can queue up there for games. There's also a quest-giving NPC there as well for the honor quests. I know AB has a quest where you have to personally assault the four farthest points and I got that one outside the portal in Refugee Point. I don't think there's any like that for WSG though.

Good luck getting into WSG at your level though. Maybe on a weekend, but ever since AB was added, it's the only one I ever see going on. I like AB better anyway since rogues don't quite dominate as much there.

Also, expect to have some tough fights in the 40-49 BGs. I'm only a 42 mage right now, so the best advice I can give you is stick around other people. I like to sit down near the flag and drink to draw out rogues, after which our own rogues take them out or people who have been hiding pop out and assist me.

When I hit 40 I did AB shortly after (didn't even have my mount yet). A perfectly timed sequence of polymorph, pyroblast, counterspell, fireballs, and arcane missles almost killed a level 47 mage (I wouldn't even dream of attacking a lvl 47 mob at lvl 40). The counterspell wore off as I was about to deliver the killing blow and he poly'ed me and ran away

Wow, that is strange then. Must be a bug for you. All our warriors in might/wrath never spend anywhere near that for all red armor, let alone 10%.

Heh, we all do it in our guild.
Marginally cheaper for me, but the clothes have actually started complaining that it's become more expensive, go figure

Woo hoo, did AB (couldn't get a round of WSG going). The first four rounds were a complete blow out for alliance. One round ended nearly 2000-200. So I had some real positive results. I tried again on saturday, but it was the reverse stomping 3-0 horde. The team was just way too unorganized. I don't think we had more than 3 people at a spot at once. Team members just went where ever. We also had a good amount of lower level players which I'm sure didn't help much. I even got the high score on deathblows for the entire map , but it didn't make much difference. Everyone was pvping and not worrying about flags. I was kinda impressed how well shields and shadowform was holding me up. It eventually came down to 2-3 46+ hunters swarming me because I couldn't be brought down otherwise. I'm still in PvE mode, where I don't use shields. So I'm normally casting shields in the middle of the fight rather than prior. Which waste cast time, and increases the weakened soul time I have to work with.

I don't think I'll get my bracers from silverwing, but I've been eyeballing the 38-48 boots and belts from arathor(?, the AB folk). I was kinda hesitant about the BGs, because of the xp hit but I hit 41 fairly quickly. I think I racked up about 11k honor friday and saturday, along with almost quadrupling my HKs.

I think if we get a bum raid leader in the BGs, I'll start a new raid the next round and get some organization together. I think the key is just to have groups stick together. Once you split up, things go downhill in a hurry.
