Woo hoo, did AB (couldn't get a round of WSG going). The first four rounds were a complete blow out for alliance. One round ended nearly 2000-200. So I had some real positive results. I tried again on saturday, but it was the reverse stomping 3-0 horde. The team was just way too unorganized. I don't think we had more than 3 people at a spot at once. Team members just went where ever. We also had a good amount of lower level players which I'm sure didn't help much. I even got the high score on deathblows for the entire map , but it didn't make much difference. Everyone was pvping and not worrying about flags. I was kinda impressed how well shields and shadowform was holding me up. It eventually came down to 2-3 46+ hunters swarming me because I couldn't be brought down otherwise. I'm still in PvE mode, where I don't use shields. So I'm normally casting shields in the middle of the fight rather than prior. Which waste cast time, and increases the weakened soul time I have to work with.
I don't think I'll get my bracers from silverwing, but I've been eyeballing the 38-48 boots and belts from arathor(?, the AB folk). I was kinda hesitant about the BGs, because of the xp hit but I hit 41 fairly quickly. I think I racked up about 11k honor friday and saturday, along with almost quadrupling my HKs.
I think if we get a bum raid leader in the BGs, I'll start a new raid the next round and get some organization together. I think the key is just to have groups stick together. Once you split up, things go downhill in a hurry.
