Haha yea right! That's why the forums crash when there is a new patch. You didn't think about that statement much did you? Post a tech support question and your post will fall to page 3 in the same number of minutes. Think everyone is posting about how satisfied they feel?

You could probably mistake my gripes for praise after you spend 10 minutes on the blizzard forums. I'm obviously satisfied "enough" or I would quit. Mind you, "enough" will vary from day to day depending on what games are competing for my attention. Right now it's very few. I don't know what constitutes satisfaction for others but I guarantee that Blizzard can't continue to leave these problems unaddressed and expect to retain membership.

There are too many Ned Flanders in the world. People, when Homer steals your tools you're not supposed to just say "Okilydokily" and let him get away with it. When you do that, Homer thinks he can get away with stealing MY tools.

like I said ive played every single MMO to date and this launch is no differenet than any other one...

Well we aren't really talking about them are we your highness? They have unpleasant names for people who get screwed that much you know...

LOL the vast majority of the posts on the main forums are a nerf the other class.. or a so and so is way to overpowered.. or a your guild sucks nuts here we did this before you...
the reason they arnt availible on patch day is there are 1.7 million poeple bored and wanting to talk about WOW...

there are very few posts about the bad servers or the downtime..
I surf the main wow forums almost every day... there are not as many people bitching as you make it out to be...

I'm sure I enjoy World of Warcraft, but I just don't remember that I do right now. At this moment I have completely forgotten the respect that Blizzard earned over the past decade. Right now I think they are a chunk of smelly sh1t and I feel completely ripped off.

You are asking for something out of line.

First off, they didnt expect so many subscription. That means it take them a while to restructure server capacity, human resource...etc

Like you mentioned, they have to hire bunch of customer services rep that they didn't need before and with 1.5 millions new customers, how many customer services rep/ person is the right ratio? Also, how long does it take for a company to hire 1 person (the process can take weeks)? They also have ot hire GMs as well and I believe they are working on it.

I play the game as well, I understand fully that you are disappointed when server is down. But Blizzard gave out rest bonus to sort of compensate for it. You also have a choice of playing EQ2 or Lineage2.....so suck it up for a while

I know what you are talking about with the general forums. For the record I'm NOT one of those guys. I happen to like WoW just the way it is. I think it's a great game which is why I find it SOOOOOOOO frustrating when it is broken or unavailable. Again, no problems with the game but downtime, busted forums, busted realm status, crap tech support etc is what my gripe is about.

While you are surfing every day, go take a look at the tech support forum. Ignore any negative griping post (similar to this one) and just concentrate on the people with legitimate problems trying to get them fixed. How many actually get an answer? How many of them even get a response or the time of day from blizzard themselves? They are streaming a page full of problems every few minutes on the tech forum and have like a half dozen blizzard guys answering. It's a joke.

Well over half of the problems on the tech support or bug reports are duplicate reports that would have been solved by a search (assuming search is working that day). Some intentionally so.

If you want a real indicator, take a look at the 30 page thread on hunter bugs, about 50 bugs total, with 10-20 major ones. We've gotten word that 2 of them are being fixed at least. Good start.

Fixing the Vanish bug for rogues would be nice too - kinda important for a rogue eh?

FYI everyone, I'm not sure if the Tuesday maintenance finished on time or not last night, but it was certainly up and running when I went to play.

That's more like it. Nice user-transparent maintenance.

I am old school EQ, and now WoW

and WoW is a BLESSING compared to SOE's support and prob the worst game engine (runs horrible, and overall just horrible game that EQ is compared to WoW.
I have been a blizzard devotee since Warcraft1 was released, I knew then and there Blizzard was the new sh*t.

To me, compared to EQ.. WoW is perfect. Never leaving.

Its Blizzard. Nuff said.
