Wreckage needs some type of remediation

OCguy31 is now writhing over in Video. He's getting into it with Creig. He's acting like a wounded animal. He thinks he's gonna get banned; he told me as much in a PM.

Now he's saying he's gonna "use" my PM. Does that count as a threat?

It is about money, jealousy? I rarely post in the video forum anymore for just this reason. Anyone who reads OT and sees me post may know what I do for a living, as I discuss it often.

Creig, sickbeast, etc attacked Rollo, Wreckage, and Chizow. Chizow finally lost his cool and did a personal attack, a couple are trying to get me to do the same. I'm not going to give them that pleasure, though.

It is just sad that anything negative said about ATi causes a few certain people to whine. The worst part is that they disrupt the conversation, and then blame it on the one they are attacking. Eventually the mods get rightfully fed up, and just ban someone.

Sickbeast has shown his cards here. Just because I choose to purchase what some people may consider excessive hardware, that happens to be nV......I am accused of being a "marketer."

Go into the nRollo, Wreckage, and Chizow threads. It is always the same 3-4 people calling for the ban. I guess it is on me now. The fact that it is in the same PFI thread where I said this exact thing is happening, is Ironic. If you click this thread, it is now completely derailed by someone you will recognize.

Your posting style has more to do with my suspicions; your computer is simply icing on the cake. Rollo had the same hardware as you. Coincidence?

And seriously, 18 posts per day, all hyping Nvidia products? And we're supposed to believe you're just some guy with a hobby and a brand preference?

IMO a court of law would find you AEG based on a preponderance of the evidence. :light:

And what happens when anything negative is posted about nV (which has been quite often recently I have to say with the notebook failures, renaming, fights with Intel, etc.)? A few certain people (you included) obviously come and defend them so what do you expect to happen when something negative is said about ATI (there are fans on both sides)? (I myself don't like it when something untrue/blatantly biased is posted and will respond in kind and that's usually the only time I'd post something defending ATI/Nvidia/AMD/Intel, etc.)

I honestly don't care whether you have an agenda or not ...since I don't believe you're disruptive to the degree that some others are. Unfortunately just from the thread you linked, something positive about ATI turned bad sorta quickly because of the OT comment YOU made (even if it WAS in jest). Like that article at xbitlabs stated, the nV fans seem to be more disruptive than ATI fans...and certain members confirm that.

I look at the posts Chizow makes and I think to myself that it would take me literally *hours* to do what he does, each and every day. Not only that, but he gets belligerent, as can be seen by his vacation.

That said, AZN tends to engage Chizow and writes about as much as he does. Perhaps we have people compensated by both sides on here, engaged in a sort of propaganda war. IMO they should all be gotten rid of so we can have real discussions about real things.

You simply lend credence to what OC says here regarding a few certain people that try to indict anyone who likes NVidia. I have no connection to the video forum, and no dog in that fight (I'm still running a 9700PRO, thank you very much), but you come across as a paranoid running around accusing people you disagree with. Can I assumed then, as you have, that your rabid attention to folks you consider "TOO NV" is related to you being an ATI shill? Fair is fair, after all.

There are several here who are reiterating exactly what I'm saying. Your quote points out that Jstorm agrees with me, although his name is missing from the top quote. These guys are a total PITA and constantly derail threads.

Oh, and if you were to read some of my posts over in Video you would realize that I am by no means an AMD shill. These guys make the forums unbearable. It doesn't even matter that they're put here by NV. It's the simple fact that they're here and they're disruptive. If they spent all day posting why pigs look great in pink, I would feel the same way.

I wasn't expecting to have to reply in this thread anymore, but since you brought my name up I will explain my reason for making that comment in the thread you attempted to link to.

You have this annoying habit of popping into a thread for the sole reason of making an OT smartass comment. I've noticed it and others have noticed it. If you were to either refrain from making those unhelpful comments or put your time and effort into something a bit more constructive, people wouldn't have an issue with you and your behavior.

For myself, I will do as AmberClad suggested and will try to keep my comments more on-topic. Perhaps you could do the same.

ocguy31 hangs out in p&n as well and the breed of posting in there is well, not like how it is in other sections. I think ocguy is fine from a member stand point as we differ on many issues . The reason? He actually posts somewhere besides video. Look at these other guys, they are 2d, they only come here to talk about nvidia in the video forum.

The exact reason I'm posting here is because I'm NOT from the video forum. I have no preconceived notions about who is right and who is wrong.

I have to admit they were far more polite that I would have been. I would have laughed in your face. There's no reason he needs to answer to you, and as for what he might make a year or what his occupation is - it's ridiculous you would even mention it.

I am applying the same filter to you that you seem to want to apply to them. You have 9000 posts over 9 years - that's 1000+ a year, or 3+ a day. No sane person would spend that much time on an internet forum unless there was some ulterior motive.

Do you apply the same filter to the people who have 20k+ posts, and assume they are shilling? Bothered asking them what type of computer they have, or how much they make and what their occupation is?

It's ridiculous. It's a witch hunt. Certain people can't seem to leave it alone. It's the Anand version of "The Days of Our Lives".
