Hopefully this strike doesn't kill some of the new shows, like Carpoolers and The Big Bang Theory

Maybe families will actually talk to each other now? Or God forbid, eat dinner together?
The horrors of losing the idiot box!

no daily show / colbert report kills me.
like, it interrupts my weeknight routine of play warcraft, brush teeth, watch TDS/CR, go to bed.
TV's are more interesting than people, otherwise we'd just have a person sitting on the entertainment center.Originally posted by: GTaudiophile

This is really gonna be a setback for Colbert's 08 presidential campaign.

Hopefully Stewart or Colbert will just wing it on the fly.

I wonder how long they'll wait it out.
one of my coworkers was telling me about how Letterman was winging it during the last strike and was actually really great.
doesn't seem like it'd be that hard... topical joke, silly face, interview, repeat.

I couldn't care less about any of those shows since I do not watch them. I stopped watching the Tonight Show when Johnny Carson retired, Leno cannot hold a candle to him.

I agree that Leno certainly isn't nearly as good as Johnny was, but I still watch occasionally. I've watched the Tonite show since the days of Jack Parr...but once Conan takes over...that will be the end of it for me. I can't stand the guy.

Glad to see I'm not alone on that. I still watch the Tonight Show occasionally as well. I hope something happens and Conan doesn't get the show when Leno leaves. I just don't see the humor/entertainment in Conan. I think hes pretty annoying.
Has House M.D. been put on hold yet? and how many episodes were completed? Thats really the only show I watch anymore.

Won't miss any of those shows. The strike could last forever for all I care.
