I had winme on(drive c: SAMSUNG 6.4 gig)FAT32 and winxp pro on (drive d: MAXTOR 40gig)NTFS dualboot successfuly working on my system.Please note that Maxtor40 gig had 2 partitions, each of 20 gigs.second one for another 20
(drive e was only for storage.
Then I bought this epox 8kha+ motherboard with amd xp 1800 and add the maxtor harddisk to system and repartition and reformat it then installed winxp again
(I'm not sure if this weird wrong harddisk size recognition started there or later)
This epox mobo had some bios chip problems and rebooted the system randomly after three different mobo and sleepless four nights i gave up and returning the mobo for good today.
Anyway now I have old system back but I see this weird harddisk size it's ony 2 gigs but when you need that space you need that space.I set the MAXTOR as primary master and Samsung as primary slaveMy DriVe C: seems like 20 gig but Drive D: looks like 18 gig and samsung looks fine.
So second partition of MAxtor device looks like little less then it suppose to be(even on fdisk)
Anybody has any idea why i have this weird problem?
