I just got the following e-mail, can anybody make any sense of it. It definatly relates to my presence here. But I don't get it.

Could someone whose english is poor have mistranslated my last thread about the DPC and Gammaflux an took some kind of action baseed on it?

That thread must be what drew them to my e-mail address.

I e-mailed back for a further explanation of what they meant, but I imagine if it really is a hacker that the e-mail addy is invalid.

I do know that you can not join team 3 atm due to people running a security breach in the client that made stats count huge. So for right now you have to be manually added by charrison or somebody else at dcyper... I don't know if theat is what they are reffering to?

aparently one of the DPC hacked the site to prove that the security of the project needs a fixin. they are refering to you dont have to e manually added to the team just stick the team number into the client and it will all work fine. (according to them) I am getting the hackers info and will report it to Dcypher ASAP.

i am the guy who's pc is hacked and used for sending the email to one of you , i see he mailed me back , but I have not seen any reply on my account of him. Strange ??????. I take distance of the email send to on of you , because it is not written by me. I have send an email to dcypher to take distance of the email.

I've got several e-mails from Djurre now and all the headers are the same as in the hackers e-mail.

Djurre wants me to remove his name from the the original post, so for now I will cut out the headers. I'll put them back if a good argument is made for it.

Well I'm not sure on the details of this hack, but I do know that the restrictions on Team AnandTech being able to accept new members in Gamma Flux were removed 2 nights ago during a conversation between charrison and myself regarding the subject in a PM from #teamanandtech on irc. I'm not discounting the fact that Dcypher may have been hacked, but the proposed hacker doubtfully had anything to do with TA restrictions being removed. We'll have to wait for official information from charrison to be sure.

Quick update

I just got in. We had a security break a couple days ago and have been working to cover the holes. WE unfortunatly were not done fixing everything....

Well they got the gammaflux stats back up, It seems that half of the work I've done is now gone. Just kinda pisses me off.
