How many people would find the latter funny, and take it as a joke. I don't find it offensive, but I can see why asians would be offended. I also don't find it humorous.

I'm Korean American and I wasn't offended by it...I actually thought it was amusing and kind of true. If you look at Korean or Japanese pop culture it's pre-occupied with fashion and design. It's all about style over substance (listen to some of the lyrics in J-Pop/K-Pop and you'll know what I mean). Whether it's trying to copy the effeminate thug/boy band look or going all-out drag queen in a visual kei look, Asian fashion makes their men look androgynous. JMO

People who get offended are no less bigots themselves... Being compared to a homosexual, to them, is seen in a deragotory (sp?) manner. What's the big deal? There are gay people ,there are asians, there are whites, who gives a rat's ass. People these days make mountains out of mole hills. Too many people fighting for an exclusive cause rather then helping mankind in general, ie NAACP and the whole cuban community rallying to keep Elian Gonzalez in America.
