Okay, so now we know what he did for two hours! He was taking pics and vids of himself, getting pumped up.
And you're hopeless.Originally posted by: Muse
Man, you are dense. My point is obvious if you take off your blinders. A psycho bent on murdering people, however motivated needs a means of doing so. Timothy McVeigh made a bomb, but most are unable or unwilling to go to the trouble. Guns make it too damn easy to kill, and to be perfectly OT here, to mass-kill. Sheesh.

And according to Jack Thompson, playing CounterStrike
Jack is an ass. They had one of the shooters suitemates on right after Jack Thompson and he said that he NEVER saw him playing video games. He only saw him typing in Microsoft Word constantly

You eliminate the guns, and homicide in the USA will be a fraction of what it is today.
That is a myth.

BS, it's obvious to anyone who isn't biased.

Yeah, just saw that too. It appears that NBC News sent the info to authorities immediately
NBC just said they're gonna show what was in the package (they made copies) tonight on the NBC nightly news. 6:30PM

How could they have made copies if they sent them to the authorities "immediately".
This makes NBC News look like they will stop at nothing, least of all human decency, to get ratings.
That would make sense, since TV is about ratings.Originally posted by: chuckywang

What is indecent about showing the killer's final words?
I would honestly like to know what he said prior to committing this unimaginable act.
He used hollow-points (one of the pictures from the slideshow).Originally posted by: fallenangel99
The pictures sent to NBC are at msnbc.com now.
Check out his "from" address on the USPS envelope - A. Ishmael
I'd rather have my news unfiltered. A human describing something is a filter. Raw video footage isn't.Originally posted by: chuckywang
Cause that's precisely what the killer would have wanted. It is human nature to be curious as to what was on that tape, but is it really that much more newsworthy to air it instead of just describing it?

There are pictures of him pointing a gun to his head and a knife to his throat. He should have done us a favor and off himself.

Schizophrenia?
What then leads you to believe Cho had schizophrenia?
How he related to his roommate was just too bizarre to be depression. The bizarre content of his plays ? mashing a half-eaten ?banana bar? in someone?s mouth, the hypersexual, nihilistic (death obsessed) obsessions in the absence of depressive guilt or tearfulness are another clue. The progressive decline of a period of years. Those with schizophrenia, especially in their earliest years, are not readily recognizable as such ? their condition is evolving. But here was someone who, as early as 2005, was carrying himself so strangely that he was a spectacle. The depressed withdraw and disappear. Those who are so peculiar in their manner so as to be inappropriate (taking cell phone pictures of his teacher, speaking inaudibly, pulling a cap low over his eyes) exhibit signs and symptoms more indicative of schizophrenia. He was communicating in a rambling manner reflective of what we appreciate as autistic thinking ? characteristic of schizophrenia. In a similar vein, Mr. Cho?s stilted communication in his homicide note (deceitful charlatans ? not the language of a 23-year-old college kid) is also the manner of a schizophrenic?s communications, as is his pronounced delay in responding to questions.
NY Times has pictures of the campus and layout of Norris Hall and Ambler Johnston Hall.
Actually I've been thinking about it and he could possibly have been schizophrenia. He certainly was delusional, and certainly fits the diagnosis according to the DSM-IV...However he could have been a psychotic depressive as well. We'll never really know....that mental health stay is a clue but obviously this man was seriously disturbed and apparently very very psychotic when the attacks took place.
