I disagree. All it would take is a basic familiarity with firearms, a little practice shooting, and reloading, and most importantly, a cool head.
From what I know about the stopping power of a 9mm, if the guy fired roughly 50 rounds and killed/injured roughly 50 people in a 3:2 ratio, he would need to be more than just familiar with shooting. Previous shooting incidences have seen more rounds fired and less killed/injured.
I agree, if he only fired around 50 rounds, and injured 50 people, that would likely mean he's trained. However, the only report i've seen of number of rounds fired is from a student down the hall saying she heard about 50 shots, and that was only at one location.
Chances are he fired more than 50-60 times, but the truth is, we just don't know.
