Al-Qaeda nukes may have reached US shores
UNGA session possible terror target

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani and American investigators converge that Osama bin Laden?s Al Qaeda network may have successfully transported several nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons of mass destruction to the United States, The Frontier Post learnt Friday.

Already on high alert, United States security officials are having sleepless nights that Al Qaeda can strike in New York again on the occasion of United Nations General Assembly session.

Investigators from Pakistan?s ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) and American FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) are jointly probing into the possibilities of Al Qaeda possessing nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.

They have reached a conclusion that at least two briefcase nuclear weapons may have reached the US shores, sources close to these investigators revealed to this scribe.

The investigators have been able to identify at least one briefcase weapon acquired by Al Qaeda from Central Asian rogue groups.

The weapon identified is small 8-kilogram device that carries at least 2 kg of fissionable plutonium and uranium.

The device, of Russian make, carries a serial number 9999 and manufacturing date October 1988.

The design of the device is simple.

The radioactive materials consist of Uranium and Plutonium both kept in separate compartments.

At the top of the two compartments is placed the charging mechanism.

The charging mechanism can be activated through a timer or even through a cell phone command.

Even if the Taliban's claims of civilian casualties are accurate, which I don't think anyone actually believes it is, then we have killed no more than 1600 civilians so far.

Believe me, if we wanted to go "bomb the sh*t" out of a third world country because we want to kill Muslims, we can do A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT BETTER than 1600 dead, and probably used 1/4 of the bombs to do it.

To think that the government that will be setup afterwards could be worse, you must think there is something worse than fascism. What could that be, equality? Edit: Oh, and as for the propaganda issue, I think it is safe to say that the Taliban is an oppressive regime, and that the Al Qaeda is a terrorist network. I suppose we should just listen to the press releases from the oh-so-open and free-minded Taliban and base all of our knowledge on that. Or better yet, let's just believe everything bin Laden tells us, after all, anyone who would butcher 5,000+ civilians is worth listening to!

you do realize that those buildings were probably the safest in all of the country right? it sure wasnt an accident. the first place i would want to hide would be in something like that or a hospital. the taliban could have been using it for storage or could have been taking the food for the own use.

OK, name me one time when the I.R.A. attacked United States soil, directly targeted civilians, and killed 6,000 civilians. Accidental civilian casualties in a WAR != Intentional civilian casualties.

Haven't been paying much attention, have you? A grand total of 36 people have been exposed to or have contracted anthrax. There are over 270 million people in the United States. This means that less than one onehundred-thousandth of one percent of the population has been either exposed or has contracted anthrax. Somehow, this does not in any way resemble "anthrax all over the place". Apparently you have bought in to the media hype about it, but the actual numbers impune your claim. More importantly, an article in today's Washington Post reports that the anthrax scare is most likely due to the actions of a single Unibomber-like American citizen who took the opportunity to capitalise on the Sept. 11th attacks.

Because the Northern Ireland problem is practically a matter of domestic terrorism. I don't think the United Kingdom would have appreciated our military interference in that matter. In addition, the cause of the conflict itself is completely different. Ireland used to be a part of the United Kingdom. The only role we could play was that of a powerless neutral arbiter (which we have done on many occasions). It would have almost been like the United Kingdom coming into the United States to deal with some of the radical (domestic) groups we have within our country.

There are dozens of other reasons, but I suggest you try reading a book instead of having someone else explain it all to you, since we are apparently so stupid.

Oh, and by the way, the IRA is disarming now because I think they see the writing on the wall. The United Kingdom is also dismantling part of their presence in Northern Ireland.
