Don't get me wrong, I prefer whisk(e)y, but my wife prefers mixed drinks with vodka, so I end up buying both.
Just an aside, Tito's is made with corn.
Did not know that.
It's a constant. I fly Alaskan Airlines most of the time, all they have is Jack and Crown. I'll drink Crown before I'll touch Jack. There's a lot of ignorance about whiskey.
That's a taste preference though. I prefer Crown myself, of the two, but Jack is a pure corn-heavy sour mash whereas Crown is a pseudo-bourbon blend. I can see stocking Crown and Jack if you're only stocking two whiskies - they ARE the two best-selling whiskies in America. If one is drinking it neat, one drinks Crown; if one is drinking it in Coke, one drinks Jack. And if one is drinking single malt, well, one needs a better airline.
Incidentally Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye was named 2016 Whiskey of the Year by Jim Murray's Whiskey Bible*, so clearly Crown is nothing to disdain. That beat out ALL the Scotch single malts.
* Apologies to any Baptist heads that exploded from reading "Whiskey Bible".
