What's the difference betwen x2 4800+ OEM and the retail beside retail having a fan include with it? Right now Monarch only offer OEM. Should I go ahead and get the OEM or should I wait for the retail?

so fan and Warranty is the only differences btween them? I look at Monarch and the retail is ETA 8/5. I went to the Custom desktop and configure and it wasn't in there... should I just go a head and go with the OEM or wait for the retail?
It's impossible to prove that a cpu was overclocked. A badly fitted heatsink would have the same effect. (The only time I ever provably voided the warranty on a cpu was when I cut some tracks on an Athlon XP). If you can live without the 3 year warranty and the crappy HSF, go the OEM route. If you want a longer warranty than 90 days on the OEM, Monarch have various options.
