X79 memory choice

I'm putting together a new x79 system but having a bit a trouble deciding on ram. Looking for a 16gb quad channel kit and have it narrowed down between 2.

Gskill DDR3 1600 1.5v CAS 7 for $149

I'm leaning towards the standard DDR3 1600. But for $10 less I can get the 2133 for the slight performance bump. At the cost of higher voltage.

I'm probably just splitting hairs here just wondering what you guys think?

Other details of the build (if it matters).

CPU : Intel 3820
MB : EVGA x79 SLI
Cooler : Coolermaster 612

If I were shopping for high quality memory, I would use the following parameters as a guide...

* DDR3 rated at 1.5v or lower
* DDR3 rated at the lowest CAS I could afford
* DDR3 rated at the highest clock speed I could afford
* Limit the scope of my purchease to G.Skill, Mushkin, Corsair XMS or Crucial (non-Ballistix)

While not wavering on the voltage point, I would balance the other issues with my budget.

Remember kids my goal is not pure "benchmarking" performance, but simply finding the highest quality memory I can afford. ^_^

The only reason I pay a premium for low latency, high speed, low voltage memory is...
Quality and quality alone.

1.5v is the JEDEC DDR3 voltage standard.
Stay with 1.5v or less if you can afford it..

Thanks guys! Think that makes up my mind to pass on the DDR3 2133.

kbp, I saw that Samsung memory mentioned in another thread. Really impressive. I originally checked newegg but they were out of stock as were a few other retailers. But I was checking for kits and not single sticks. I was initially turned off by the timings but it looks like people have gotten some good numbers out of them. Plus it would save me $50 versus the $149 gskill kit I am looking at.
