X800XL vs X800XT

I got an X800XT off of eBay a couple of weeks ago (about $500 approximately)

Now I see X800XLs at $300!

Should I sell the X800XT and buy the X800XL and save $200? $200 is a lot of money to me . . . . .

It would have to be a HUGE performance gain with the XT for me to keep it . . . .

I would sell it and save the 200 dollars. Yeah, with the x800xt you will be able to run the games at higher aa/af settings, but the x800XL should suit you fine. Save the money now, buy the x800xl, and wait for the next offerings from ATI/NV if you're not pleased with its performance...

ok cool, i'm kinda leaning towards that situation

i'm a member of another tech forum and they are also saying to sell it . . .

I will go with the PowerColor X800XL with my new computer.

The Powercolor have the VIVO rage chip and an external power plug. So it will be a piece of cake to put the X850XT Bios and boost that card to the roof!!

i'd probably be going with the BBA card since that is quieter and i do not need VIVO as my monitor has VGA, DVI, S-Video, and Composite

bump, anymore opinions on this?

i've contacted people who are looking for an X800XT, waiting for replies

if i dont get any, then its FS/FT

If you can get $500 for the XT (and I think you would), AND...you can find a XL for $300 (that might be a little harder as they are in short supply right now); Then do it!
