*surprise surprise* According to the official Xbox website, all launch software will retail for $49.99 (approximately £35), which includes titles like Halo, Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding, Mad Dash Racing and Project Gotham Racing.
yah, gc titles will be 49$ msrp, but probably 52-54 just like ps2 games and xbox games if you buy them at eb. most places will have the games for all consoles at 49$. i think the only exception is the gamecube's monkey ball which is supposedly 39$.
EB is the place that overcharges. Take for instance the new Dreamcast pricedrop... it's supposed to be $9.99 for the VMU's, but EB is charging $12.99! :|
EB overcharges on software solely to make up for the losses they get from software returns.. They are one of the few places that lets you return software. But I still like bashing them for the need to tack on $10 to most games.

You can buy PC games and return them even if they are opened?
Geezzzz, EB must be good in the USA, cause up here in Canada it has to be the most expensive place to buy ANYTHING. It has not bad selection but, but most places, Future Shop etc. (Or should I say Best Buy ;-) Kill it on price.
