jeez...i feel sorry for the people who forked over a lot of money for xms3500's when they could have bought xms3000's that overclocked just as well (in your case better) for much less...
makes me feel better about buying xms3000's a couple of months back...
btw...are you gonna be posting this over at asusboards?

pr497, lot's of people must know this too, I notice XMS3000 usually costs more than XMS3200..

I'm curious what the 1:1 limits are for 2 sticks at a time with that setup... (or is that going to wait until you get a DC DDR board?) Can 2 sticks even do 2-2-2-7 timings at any DDR on that board?

on this board (p4b533) 2 sticks @ 1:1 stopped working stable at 167fsb ~
swapping sticks, adding vdimm, lame cas, didnt matter, nothing worked past 166fsb.

The only difference is you technically aren't allowed to return a PC3000 module if it doesn't break its speced speeds, of which PC3500 offers 31.25 MHz more...

so you could return it and hope for a better working sample But you wouldn't need to do that when your XMS 3000 could be rebadged as an XMS 3600

Nice work Thugsrook, the difference between those two sticks of XMS3000 is crazy! :Q
Odd how XMS3500 stick 2 maxed out the same at both ratios...

I guess when you think about it...that's the way it should be, it should max out the same either way, as long as the voltage and timings are the same...

My PC3200c2 ... at 4 bank, 2.6.2.2 1T at 2.65v at 193 FSB was rock solid. (882mbs I think)

But something else wasnt...
I'm at 189.4 ...... 1:1 .... on my KX7-333.

2 x 256 in slots 2 and 3

My mem rocks ...

that reminds me...im running 2 x 256mb corsair xms3000 @ ddr390 (195mhz x 2) on a P4S333 (533)....but the timings arent that tight (2-3-3-6 1T) and im using a 3:5 ratio at 117FSB...i cant find out how far i can go using the 1:1 ratio because my cpu craps out at about 145 FSB (P4 1.8a)...

The two XMS 3500 sticks would make a good pair of optimized sticks (Twin Sticks) for Granite Bay since they both perform very close to each other..Optimized by Thugsrook..LOL.
