from what I understand one of 2 things will happen...
1) computer will not fully boot into windows (most likely it will give you a message about an invalid activation code)
2) some have said you won't be able to apply future updates

It isn't that the corp edition is getting blacklisted. It is certain keys that are blacklisted. You can change your key used for the install and you will be fine. At my university, we required everyone to have licenses for their computers BUT some bright guy got the idea to install the corp edition so that we wouldn't have to worry about people getting new hardware and stuff. Now they have to go back and change all the serial numbers used on those installs.
