I might be looking for a used car i na few months, and I am finding loads and loads of cheap .....


...bah..okay, so the Taurus sucks....

What about a 2000 Acura 3.2TL? ($10k)

Good Choice..Can I do better..etc?

I was thinking about an old accord, and I even found a 2001 Acura 3.2TL for $10k, but they jsut look so old.

It's not like the 2004 Taurus is a dream car or anything, but 2001 is getting old...

I'm not a Ford basher, but the Taurus sucks for reliability. I was in a head on collision at about 40 mph (passenger) in a late 90's model and walked out with only torn ligaments in my back, and that was because I was turned around trying to brace my son in his car seat before impact.

Car was totaled though.

I just had a Ford Taurus SE 2005 for about a week on a rental. pretty new 3500 miles.
Ver ugly interior and the damn thing uses so much gas.

I spent about 45 dollars on gas in one week which. I could have used 45 dollars for probably almost 3 weeks on my own car.

um.

what does this have to do with reliability? sounds like it saved your ass, and i'm pretty sure most cars in head on collisions don't run afterwards.

i had a 94 and it was nice enough. bad stereotype, but if you can get past that the car was actually really nice.

Where my brother works they use them as fleet vehicles. They pound the absolute crap out of them and never really have any problems. It seems like a decent, bland family-mobile.
