I think I have enough Mosins for now:
Whoa, nice collection.
How do you like the PU scopes on the Mosins? Did you install a bent bolt or were you able to keep the straight bolt?
They're original so they came that way from Russia .
I've had a "resniper" as well that originally was an Ex-Sniper that I had someone drill the holes and install a bent bolt for me. Looking back I should have waited until the influx of Mosin Snipers in 2012...but back then no one thought any were coming in. The crude 4X scopes in these rifles are pretty handy. I like em!
Very nice, I'll definitely need to mount a scope and get a bent bolt now.
That SVD looks amazing. Too bad they are prohibited in Canada
It's actually a Romanian PSL, which is just an AK on steroids that shoots the same round as the Mosins/Dragunov. It's definitely a head turner on the range.
If you're dead set on putting a scope on a Mosin I'd highly recommend you try and find an original Mosin Sniper. I think most of the stores like AIM and Classic are sold out of them at the moment so I'd try the 2nd hand market.
They'll appreciate in value more than a "replica" would.

Texans can get guns and ammo with no sale tax along school supplies = http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Se...302015101.html?_osource=SocialFlowFB_DFWBrand

Colt is in serious trouble, financially.

How poorly run is this company? The gun market has been hot for 7 years and they are on the brink of closing down?
Damned dude.
:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Those things shoot straight ?
I guess they would s a few listed as sniper rifles.
One for every room in the house. That's great.
That's the trouble with cheap well-made guns - hard to stop buying them.
Damn, I was just thinking the other day that I should to get an "authentic Colt" 1911. I guess the used market will be around even if they die...
Anyone utilize a gun trust? I've been thinking about it to avoid all the hassle of the fingerprinting, CLEO sign-off, etc of the class III stamp

Appreciate the advice. I was thinking of going a similar route. I haven't decided on any title 2 weapons yet, but if I do I'd rather simplify the process and have my fiance and father as trustees so they can use them without my having to be present (as well as have access to my safe which has other non weapon items in it).I bought the silencerco easy trust, for $129, and it is unbelievably easy. I had the completed trust about 10 minutes after checking out on their website, and just had to get it notarized with my wife (since she is a trustee).
I have already made a purchase with it, and everything went smoothly.

Well, I could not resist trading a revolver for this beast this evening. Should make for a good pocket carry, no?
Never understood the obsession with DE - and I've fired one. They're notoriously picky with ammo, overly complex and heavy. In .44 mag, I'd take my model 29 *every* day of the week over that.
A range toy, I'd take it. But there are other range toys I'd like
It's a lolwtf range toy. Literally the only reason to buy it is for the lulz. Why else would you get it in gold tiger stripe?
I probably won't get one any time soon... needs to buy lots more Glocks first. But it's on the list.
