I got in when the deal was $1.99.
Agree it is still hot at $4.99 and this is certainly not intended as a thread crap....BUT

the manner in which you have to "redelegate" an active domain name that you already own is a PITA.

Also they (Yahoo) is having glitches. For e.g. sometimes a domain name that you already registered is suddenly pending. Yahoo is aware of this and their CSR suggests you simply refresh your browser or if that doesn't work, log-out and log back. You might want to clear your cookies...however that suggestion is mine.

It happened to me QUITE a few times. Anyway if anyone has a foolproof way to show the extension of years on the domain name while using a FREEDNS service, please post it here.

FWIW, I am using MyDomain.com to handle the DNS, forwarding and email etc.
