I think him cheering, egging them on implicates him. Sad state of affairs when the only person who stepped in to help was an old white lady. Thankfully in KY lethal force is justifiable in defense of a third party. Those two needed to be shot. Stomping somebody's head is trying to kill them, her life was in immediate danger.

He could be sitting there with popcorn and a microphone, calling out each individual blow like he was a boxing announcer - and that still unfortunately would not subject him to liability.

Unless he's providing some form of active assistance - driving the getaway car, disposing of their bloodied clothes, etc. - he's not guilty of anything other than being a colossal waste of human life.

That's not to say the cops don't try to get him on obstruction/perjury when they bring him in for questioning and he plays dumb, but from what I've seen - no crime.

It is extremely sad that, of everyone in the place, a 60+ year old woman is the only one with the sense to attempt helping.

Watching the video, all I wanted to do was body-check one of those animals at full speed. I would have sent that animal flying into the wall. Would have felt good too I'm sure.

I weigh 170 pounds on a "heavy" day. And I'm 6' tall. I probably give up 20 pounds and foot and a half of leverage to the ghetto booty. Not sure I could body check that effectively. I'm grabbing a chair and going WWE.

I have to agree with what I think you are trying to say, at least as it applies to assaults. All assaults are severe crimes and deserve a severe punishment weather they are racially motivated or not. All violent criminals need to be removed from society.

Thank you. There shouldn't be a difference in sentence between a black guy getting beat by a black guy and a black guy getting beat up by a white guy no matter what the reason. Both are terrible crimes and should be dealt with harshly. The same applies if the shoe's on the other foot.

Googled but haven't found it yet. Several years ago, easily 10. At an airport, iirc. Buddy stood by and watched. They tried to prosecute him but, under the law, he hadn't done anything wrong.

But they certainly did aide the assailants in escaping before the cops could arrive.

Think of it this way: informing an assailant that the cops are coming is often actually an effective way to stop the assault. It may be the only reason they stopped and fled, sparing the girl's life.

I agree, though, that everyone but the old lady should should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

It's just as relevant if the person getting beat down was black or mexican. If you're anything other then white and you get assaulted in some way they label it a hate crime.
