Yay, 9800pro ownzers!

Got this instead of a faulty GF FX5900XT paying $50 more and I most say I love it. And besides actually working there's one reason why I like it much better......2-D quality. The 2-D quality of the GF FX5900XT sucked. It was worse than my old GF4200Ti, most noticable the text seemed even more blurry, which annoyed me pretty much since I've got a Iiyama 19" Vision Master pro454. The 9800pro also has better quality than my old 4200Ti, so Yay for ATi. No I only need to go buy a good DX9 game, maybe FarCry, seems nice.

I just did the same after getting 2 bad 5900's. The 9800 Pro is working great.

No I only need to go buy a good DX9 game, maybe FarCry, seems nice.

Since that's the only good DX9 game that uses some of the new DX9 features, it's fairly likely you'll have to pick that one if you want a "good DX9 game".

These days that's about like saying, "I just bought a new computer, now I'll go buy a good OS to run on it, maybe Windows XP!"

I loved my Gainward FX 5900, I had no 2D OR 3D problems with it. I only traded it for my 9800 Pro so I could play around with something new for a while. I was bored.

Did you get Evga or BFG? their IQ is noticibly worse than the other FX series cards.
