Mine's a slightly different take, though. I've read up on dpreview and Steve's Digicams, but I want to hear a little more "field" experience. One of the biggest problems I had with my previous camera (Olympus D520), besides the fact that it broke, is that I wanted the batteries to last a bit longer. It took 4AA's, and that was before I had NiMH 1800mAH rechargables.
Anywho. I'm particularly interested in cameras that still use AA's, unless someone can convince me of a definitive reason not to go with that. I've got quite a few rechargable AA's, so I'm thinking that it seems the most feasible route.
Any advice would be appreciated. I'm mainly looking for a 3-4mp camera, and one that is good quality additionally. I've heard good things about the Minolta F100. What else?
