You guys like the office?

I just finished watching season 2 of the US version and I will say it is much, much better than the first season. I am glad they started to branch off on their own a bit more than they did in the first season, which was an unfunny carbon copy of the UK version.

The UK series is still superior, but the US one has grown on me a bit. Same buddy just lent me season 3, so we'll see how that goes.

I tried watching The Office. I watched the first four episodes and wanted to slit my wrists rather than continue. I haven't watched the UK version, but if it's a carbon copy, I'm sure I'd hate that one just as much.

I respect your opinion however after watching the UK office again this weekend via streaming on Netflix, I couldn't really find it superior to the US version at all. There were some moments where Ricky Jervais was really so absurd that it made me smile but that was it. I've watched all the episodes available on Netflix but I just can't connect with the main characters. They just look weird and wrong for the roles but they do act okay.

I can't understand the accents on the UK version either. I had to keep playing back to try and comprehend what the characters were saying. I don't have closed caption using Netflix.

Sorry. The US version is a zillion times better than the UK version. I've watched both many times and the only series that I find myself watching more is the US version.
