I'd say this video single-handedly ruined Billy Squire's career. No really Billy, you look cool in that pink tank top swinging your arms like a fairy. Who directed this video anyway? Richard Simmons? :laugh:MAO

She's not cute as well and she has no tits....

I was into underground ( non-mainstream Metal ) in the 80's. Hated bubble gum MTV crap ... even hated that fluffy metal ( hairbands ). Judas Priest was about a "light" as metal I listen to then. I've mellowed since, and do like all kind of music now. With that said here is more hard metal bands from the 80's :

ANVIL - "Winged Assassins"/"Free as the Wind" 2-tunes together in this youtube link.

1983 Ronnie James Dio "Rainbow In The Dark"

Dio - King of Rock n' Roll

SAVATAGE - "Hounds" Live in Tampa 1989 - RIP Criss Olivia April 3, 1963 - October 17, 1993

Nope that is not it - albeit a classic in its own right... The one I am talking about is WAY hotter.

The Minutemen are probably my favorite artists from the 1980s. They really weren't a rock-video-oriented band, but here is one.

Other bands I loved in the 1980s included Naked Raygun (I recently saw them here in Minneapolis - they were still awesome), Big Black, Husker Du, Die Kreuzen, the Misfits/Samhain (not a big Danzig fan), Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Black Flag, early Butthole Surfers, very early Red Hot Chili Peppers (they started sucking right around the same time anyone knew who they were, and have been unlistenable for at least the last 14 years IMO, but their first 3 or 4 records were good), and some local Minneapolis bands that never achieved nationwide acclaim, including the Mighty Mofos and Otto's Chemical Lounge. IMO most mainstream music in the 1980s was crappy and I really didn't listen to much.

i see a lot of metal and hard rock posts. i know it was made in the 80s, but it just doesn't have an 80s feel to it IMO.

my favourite 80s tune is

Howard Jones - No One Is To Blame
