I can't return them as I bought them on newegg during the Valentines Day sale. I know I will have to run them slightly lowered clock speeds thats no biggie.
Every AM5 motherboard I've seen supports BIOS update without a CPU installed.
Does anyone have experience with Strix B650E-E, B670E Taichi or EK-AIO 360 D-RGB?
I updated my daughter's 7600x (Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX to F4b from F3 BIOS) build first and experienced the same thing. In addition, HWInfo no longer displayed the motherboard info section for voltages, temps and fan speeds. So I reverted it back to F3. Surprisingly it didn't seem to change her idle power usage, about 23W on both, but it showed 0% C6 state at idle.PSA: guys who already upgraded to 1.0.0.5 AGESA, check your Idle power and C-States.
Best tool to do so is HWinfo64:

It should look like this on some load and mostly C6 when idle.
If C6 is flat 0% when Idle, then check Package Power, you won't like what You will see
Both the x670e and the B650eTaichi boards look amazing , except for there rear I/O layout drives me crazy. why would they put the dang wireless connectors and Lan port on the left side and the audio jacks directly in the middle of the I/O where it will get in the way of all the other ports?? Those wireless antenna's have to block the bios flashback and clear Cmos buttons after they are screwed in. That is just my personal thoughts. Thanks! Good to know. I really like the high quality audio and amps on these 3 mobos (mostly why I avoid Gigabyte). USB4 is also nice on the Taichis. I need to build a compact workstation. We need two NICs for operation. I can use addon card but I was wondering if there is a mATX board with two built in ethernet ports? Otherwise build will be quite simple; 7950X, 64/128GB, W6600 pro card, Micro-Tower Inter-Tech IM-1 Pocket Black case.

So I ordered it. Its 6400 cl32 hynix M-die. I already have 6600 cl34 M-die. So would I be able to run better than the referenced tweaked settings using the 6600 ? The 6400 id trident S5, and the 6600 is trident Z5. The 7950x3d comes tomorrow, and I want to be ready !
Thanks ! So , my last questions are.... The memory is different in CL from 32 to 34 and speed from 6400 to 6600. Will either matter at 6000 andPretty much all M-die and A-die should be able to achieve the tuned DDR5-6000 timings from Buildzoid.

Thanks for that link. I am actually thinking this may be a pricey build that will make things easier for a future upgrade. Full tilt upgrade with a 7800x3d (depending on reviews), or a 7700x, Asus Strix 670E-E, 64gb of RAM, and a 4080. Gonna try to build it in a Silent Base 802, and I might actually try and AIO vs air.
