Status of DC and its worth?

F@H has a number of papers. The modeling they did of the corona virus lead to multiple papers and lead to some anti virals as I recall, and the dramatic increase in processing power in 2020 and 2021 lead to a lot more papers than they usually do. https://foldingathome.org/papers-results/?lng=en

I'm 27th overall, and I just couldn't accept that. Instead of doing the likely smart thing and waiting a week for the 4080S, I went over to microcenter today and bought a 4070 Ti Super. It's folding now at an estimated 12mppd - lower than I expected, but maybe it's just that work unit...
