Question I have two spare Ryzen 3 2200G CPUs, wondering what to do with them

They can make a good HTPC's, home servers, or light usage computer for grandma. They still have some value. Not a lot but that plus a good B450 board is a great start.

Discussion RTX 4090 reviews

Man that's a large jump from 1 gen to the next. Makes the current GPUs from both Nvidia and AMD look over priced. Sorry for those that bought an expensive card recently.

Question Thinking of upgrading from R5 1600 to 12600k..

If your itching look for a cheaper/used 3800x or 3900xt since your board support those. Then wait for the 7000series from AMD and refresh from intel.

Yea but that is 2 years at intel 10nm (intel7+?) node. AMD will be at least 1 full node ahead by then if not more. Let alone ARMs V9 will built and in use by then. ARM has been making inroads on the V8 already. And like before that is if its not delayed even more. Intel does not exactly have a...

Question Upgrading processor on a Gateway M285-E

The T7600 was a OE option. Make sure you have the newest BIOS and it should work. Just don't spend much on it. Cheaper to buy a new $200ish laptop if you're in the US. Like this... https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/205077609 Not great, but better than a T7600 system.

Discussion Booster Shot?

Hard enough to get people to even get 1 shot. More local quasi-famous people ding from it so hopefully that will persuade them to do it. But second they offer it I will get it. My little one just meet the minimum age which made me happy. He has both shots now as well.

Good aftermarket brands for ball joints, or pay the OEM premium?

For that car the lower joints are easy to replace and does not alter the alignment. So even if you get a dud its not to bad. Best cheap joint: $12 at RA SUSPENSIA X50BJ0064 These are made in Turkey and not to bad. Esp if the car is getting older/worse for wear. Good Mid tier/price: $24 at RA...

Rumor: Chevy is killing the Camaro and replacing it "something electric"

So they are making the same mistake Ford did. :( I get ending the Camaro. But making a sedan and calling it a Camaro is just dumb. Hopefully they do not do it. For those that do not know Chevy only has 1 4 door gas car left, the Spark. All others are electric or 2 door cars now.

At less than 25k equipped, 20k starting point, I bet they sell a lot of them. The biggest issue I see is the bed is a little small. I rather have a little less room in the back seat for a full 5' bed. If they sell well maybe they will make a king-cab with a bench seat and longer bed.

Yea IBMs next gen design was based on GFs 7nm. When GF dropped their 7nm it put IBM at least a full year behind on its next power chip. With that said this case will come down to what was in the contract exactly. Could go either way without knowing the exact language and what went on behind...

Just sold a car..

Many dealers make as much or more from the financing side than the selling price listed side. That and the extra BS fees they charge. Most places add anywhere from $1500-3000 in fees now. So that 21k car might run 22-24k and that's before financing. I was lucky and got my truck private party...

where is the best place to buy honda atf dw-1 ?

Yea a lot will depend on the car/trans and how its driven. AWD vehicles seem to heat the transmission up more and wear their fluid also. Had a BMW AWD car at 45k the fluid was completely burnt and black. But the next BMW I did was a rwd around 50k and fluid looked just fine. Both had the same...
