Starbuck coffee question

Thanks. I'm not that into coffee that I'm gonna get into grinding beans or using an expresso machine. I just brew the coffee at double/triple strength.

Starbuck coffee question

When I go to the supermarket I see a bunch of varieties of Starbucks coffee like House Blend, Colombian, etc. I just want the one that they use in all their drinks like iced coffee and Frappucinos. I want my homemade frappucinos to taste like the real thing. So which one is it? House blend?

Do them a favor and convince them that a laptop is better than a desktop. Then buy them a Chromebook. Sell monitor and other bulky junk.

You cannot arrest someone based on just a video tape anyways. It is required that you catch them with the stolen merchandise after they've left the store. Nothing here would have held up and no charges would have been pressed, cop or not.

Pedometer apps

From what I understand pedometers are not very accurate for measuring distance traveled because they just count steps. I'm wondering about the pedometer apps for smart phones. Do they use the GPS to get an accurate distance? I've been doing a lot of walking/running lately and I'd really like...

Linux distribution recommendation?

I'm sticking with Ubuntu and Unity. I just really like the idea of putting the taskbar on the left. Makes a lot of sense with widescreen monitors. I'd do it with Windows too but they did not get that right in Windows. There are some problems with the functionality of Unity, but hopefully...

Linux distribution recommendation?

I was just looking at some screenshots of that desktop. In one it appears to have a very Windows-like start menu. In another it looks to have a Mac-like dock on the bottom. Which one is it?

Well I ended up installing Ubuntu and I'm already getting annoyed. Why is there no easy way to get a listing of all available programs? I can't even find a way to open a command prompt, which is crazy... this is Linux, and you don't give me an icon for a command prompt? WTF

The free Windows 8 MCE keys

I did activate MCE with this key last year, and have been using it since. I just needed to do a clean install. Was anyone else under the impression that this key would continue to work in the future with a clean install, just like a Windows 8 key does?

Verifying Windows 8 DVD

I have a burned Windows 8 DVD which I'm almost positive is the Windows 8 final retail upgrade that I bought and downloaded, but I wanted to double-check it. I know about checking the hash of ISO files, but the ISO that I created this DVD from is gone. How could I verify this DVD?
