From my testing this runs much better than the 5.0 version that was first released but its also apples vs oranges comparison since my first run on a 5800X+6800XT and this one now 5800X3D+7900XTX
Seeing like 50fps more at the same settings...
I finally got around to playing today with the new driver and performance is higher for me. Did a quick test on the ship before the drop and i'm seeing GPU usage at 90% and above it use to sometimes drops into the 80% range. Also looks like cpu usage is also higher.
When i'm out in the field...
I don't see the logic in trying to do it all in one monster thread. Would be hard to manage it and I would assume if the mod's wanted they could make it into single large one but I don't see the point. Also I wasn't the person that started this it was @Despoiler I've have just kept it going...
A single thread for multiple drivers versions?
Would a single thread for every AMD processor or intel processor make sense instead of doing it by generation?
