Ok Amazon this is a little crazy but in a good way

I'm always surprised how fast they can get stuff to me even though I'm pretty far from any fulfillment centre. 2 days is typical but I've seen even 1. It's probably like a 7 hour drive to the closest one.

What first world problem did you have today?

Setup a pneumatic cylinder to control it via motion sensor, so it sounds like a space ship door every time you go in front of it and it opens. "Phsssssssss"

No I just think it's dumb to expect everything to be bubble wrapped and idiot proof. Instead of tempting fate and expecting something to be safe, just don't do those things. Same idea as not putting your hand on a hot stove.

I can kind of see their logic. In winter that whole area is full of snow and ice and some might fall in the crack when it's opened. You can scrape it but you're never going to get all of it. I would rather make sure it closes properly then have to keep messing around with trying to figure out...

Wow talk about FAFO lol. Not sure what is with the whole trend of wanting to test finger injuries on car hoods. Uhh yeah, a big piece of metal that is closing near another piece of metal, like giant scissors, is going to be dangerous to put your finger in lol.
