I have been using Linux for about 15 years. My main desktop is set up to dual boot Windows 7 pro and Mint 17 Cinnamon. Funny thing is, I never boot into Windows except to do the monthly updates. Linux sees my Windows files and I can use within Linux all pics, videos, music and office files...
ah for the days of the, what was it? 32 gig limit? wow, either oldtimers disease is setting in or killed too many cells in the 70's. what was that limit?
back in January bought the seagate 1.5 drive-it lasted a week. Returned it, got the 1.0 tb drive, updated the firmware and bricko city. Took that one back and said forget it Seagate. Bought a 1tb caviar black from newegg, then followed that with the 640g caviar black. Both awesome drives...
