Can confirm that the Orbital Gas Strike is devastating to bugs now even if you're not the host. Throw it on a Bug Breech and go do something else.

My buddy played that game just to see if New Mexico looked the same and they got a lot of stuff accurate, but most of it was condensed (for obvious reasons). It was kinda fun to go through my home town on that game and see the same buildings in low resolution.

Pretty sure Steam offers a refund when they make the game unplayable. They're usually pretty fair when it comes to extenuating circumstances. Edit: There's some good information in here for anyone looking for a refund.

I don't know what people are talking about. The flamethrower absolutely obliterates the bugs - even chargers and bile titans. Two tesla towers, one flamethrower (host only due to the DoT bug), and two people with strategems to take down larger bugs and nothing can touch you.

How is it compared to Doom 2016? I keep seeing it go on sale on my wishlist, but I've heard fairly conflicting reviews with some saying it's "more of the same" and others saying they strayed too far from what Doom used to be. 67% off though might be worth it just to check it out.
