Oh god.
Wtf.
He was the least offensive wccf poaster but still.
Idk about least offensive. Just different. Most authors there are shameless and don't care that they are spitting out low quality journalism (if you can even call it that). I think Usman genuinely tried to be a respected journalist, but I suspect his non-technical background combined with his inability to see his own technical shortcomings opened himself up for taking a lot of heat from the community (see Andrei's scathing comment above), which I have to imagine he got tired of. His "exclusives" were just full of conjecture that he probably thought was "good analysis" but anyone with half a brain could poke holes in it. See his "exclusive" article for example where he argues there's NO WAY the PS5 could reliably hit its boost clock; his arguments weren't just baseless, but it was debunked immediately when the PS5 and RDNA 2 launched.

Hope we get the APU 8000 series memory controller or better when Zen5 finally releases
Its doing pretty decent when comboed with a good memory OC motherboard
  • Dual channel 9800MT/s
  • 2550mhz FCLK (will be hard to match this with chiplet based architecture -> regular Zen4 caps out at 2200mhz FCLK)
  • Delidded and paste is replaced with LM
I'm so close to breaking the magical 18k memscore in GB3 with this setup

You could always start some fake rumours to see if RGT, MLID or WCCFtech pick them up.
Due to how thirsty the new Zen 5 core is and how overbuilt they forced AM5 to be, they are introducing a new TDP tier of 220W TDP/300W PPT. It should help them keep an edge over Intel in every metric, including power consumption.

  • Zen 6 will be all 65w or under.
  • Zen 5 will be in my machine this year.
  • Adroc_Thurston is not MILD or Tech Jesus but is Bondrewd
  • AMD will overtake Nvidia's stock price.
Some rumors are more credible than others, I only have proof of two =)

For the record.... If Zen 5 benchmarks are any where close to the 40% (or even 20%) I hope to be the first here to have one. I was close to the 1st for Zen 4, and right now I have 5 Genoa boxes and 8 7950x boxes (all Zen 4 based)

Disclaimer: I have some Rome and Zen 3 boxes (5950x) still, but none are currently powered up for my DC work.

Could I …. Could I …. Borrow a few …. Strictly to determine its quality control of course.

It's not a different name, just the name in Chinese writing. Fun fact: The Chinese name for AMD translates into "Super Micro" which considering there's a company actually called "Super Micro" isn't helpful while machine translating.

I noticed that when it is 2 words: Super Micro, it may refer to AMD, and if it is one word, SuperMicro, it refers to the server OEM under that name.
