What it means is people who normally get access to politicians by how much money they donate will no longer have that connection. Make disclosing the identity of donors to politicians a felony.
People who donate will do so because they agree with their positions. This should level out access to your Congressman/Senator

TLDR for those who havent bothered to read about or watch
now they are trying to rewrite the laws/rules to make it not a crime or not investigatable.
- huckabee goes on trip to europe(france?) with friends on shopping spree, while there she buys $20K lectern for government purposes from one of those friend's company that doesnt normally sell lecterns.
- reporters notice lecturn bill and investigates asking to see said lectern. gov forwards a email pic of a retail $1000 lectern. reporter asks to see it in person and ask about 18k price difference.
- huckabee tries to cover up by having employees alter official invoice documents to pretend that the state republican committee were originally the ones who would reimburse the cost so that it wasnt her trying to illegally use state funds. some of the employees spider sense tingled and made sure to document who the instructions to alter came from.
