I noticed recently that I have a very weird issue with a specific combination of components in my system. I have a 32GB PNY USB 3.2 flash drive connected to my Insignia USB 3.0 powered hub which is then connected to a USB 3.2 port on my motherboard (MSI X670E Tomahawk). In this combination, frequently this flash drive will reset itself, bringing up a window showing the top of the directory structure, like it's been just inserted. This is only when connected to the first USB port of this USB hub. I tried a different Insignia powered USB hub (one that has 2 USB outputs for sharing 2 computers) and I was getting the same issue with that one as well. My other flash drives, even the PNY ones never had this issue but the other ones I had were USB 3.0. Connecting my PNY 32GB USB 3.2 flash drive directly to the USB port on the rear of my computer, I don't experience this issue with this flash drive resetting itself, and that's on the same USB port that the USB hubs were connected to that I experienced the issue adding the USB hub to the mix. I also tested this combination on another system at home and no issue with the flash drive resetting itself with this combination with the other system. The other system is a Lenovo mini-tower with an A10 7800 processor. Is it possible that a combination of three components, and just one of the components does not get along in the combination with the other components, maybe my motherboard does not get along with this flash drive connected to these USB 3.0 hubs that I have or my USB 3.0 hubs don't get along with the combination of this flash drive and my motherboard?
