around half way through the second level is mostly platforming. Way too much platforming.
Still, it is fun and looks great.
Keep in mind I am one of those guys that loved Doom 3. I enjoyed the story. Not much story in the new games.
Didn't HUB show that exact thing in a few videos of theirs? I believe they were using a 3070 and showed what happens after 20+ mins of game play in games like Halo, Hogwarts and Callisto Protocol among others. You could see the textures popping in and out.
I am taking Metoprolol because of my prior heart surgery and limits my max heart rate to 120 bps. It also allows me to have a resting heart rate in the 75 - 83 bps range.
It is similar but different. It feels different than Doom 2016 but that could be the engine or the renderer. Combat is the same.
The game is fun over all. It cost me less than $20 so it was a good deal.
I am currently playing Doom Eternal at 1440P with all settings set to ultra, no RT and no resolution up-scaling. Sitting at 144 fps.
Using 7000 MB of vram and 9 GB of system ram.
Running flawlessly on my system: R7 5700x and RX 6800.
In the province of Ontario, everything was closed on Sundays except variety stores, gas stations, fast food and sit down restaurants. This stopped in the late 1980's.
Liquor and Beer stores were closed on Sundays as well.
All stores were closed on Boxing Day (December 26) here as well. With...
I am still using my Asrock ITX board in my HTPC. I did upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 5 5600G. This system works great. I am running windows 11 on it and it is fast and stable.
There was a new BIOS released about 2 months ago for security issues.
That is for the Kitchenaid Classic series.
The Artisan Series is much better and the Pro Series is better still.
I have the Artisan Mini and it does everything I need it to do.
Seems like one poster here thinks gaming on a GTX 1060 3GB would be fine at the correct settings.
I am still surprised to see my Time Spy scores go from 7000 to 15071 when I upgraded to my RX 6800 from a 1070 Ti.
It was really cool!
I went to my neighbourhood park to watch it and totality was at 3:15PM and lasted about 10 mins. It was like dusk outside.
The birds went silent at that point.
The 1800x is a 95 watt CPU and will run hotter. Your cooler is marginal for that CPU. Either get a better cooler or get a 65 watt CPU like a 5600G if you need video.
If you don't need video then a Ryzen 5 3600 is both affordable and powerful on the used market.
maybe the last one for this motherboard:

"Update AGESA version to ComboV2PI 1.2.0.Ca.
Fix AMD processor vulnerabilities security."
I loved watching SCTV way back in the 1970's. Joe was hilarious especially his Count Floyd bit.
Thanks for the laughs, Joe.

a serious spring storm arriving Tuesday. Rain starts later tonight and may become snow later in the week depending. Snow north of me including northern Ontario.
It's going to be messy for the next 3 days with highs around 4C to 7C. Welcome to spring.
in the US it is sometimes called Cottage Ham (especially if smoked).
Cottage roll is a very Canadian cut of pork and can be a bit fatty due to the shoulder being a fatty cut. Tastes like mild ham.
It can be cooked in an Instant Pot (30 min per pound) or boiled (simmered) with veggies.
I made another Pork Cottage Roll tonight in my crock pot. I added cabbage, carrots, celery and onions along with a sprinkling of fresh dill.
Cooked for around 7 hours, the 4 lb roast had an internal temp of 180F.
For those who aren't sure what a cottage roll is: a boneless pork shoulder that...
This thread and other reasons is why I upgraded my Zotac GTX 1070Ti to a Sapphire Pulse RX 6800.
The difference is considerable. Temps are similar as well.
