I someones watch Paradox MP games (HOI4, EU4 etc) on twitch so I know who Tommy is and this guy looks very familiar. Is it grishaputin? I was wondering how he would try to dodge the draft and I guess this is one way :)
Nuremberg trials weren't just about the highest ranking Nazi civilian and military leadership. My point is that it just leads down a revenge spiral that will make a peace settlement more difficult. Better wait until the war is over and Russia agrees to withdraw or has been driven out of ALL of...
If Ukraine needs to give up anything, it's probably gonna have to be the Russian war criminals and just hope that eventually down the line they will get justice in a new Russia or one by one Israeli-style over the decades..
IMHO Ukraine putting war criminals on trial earlier in this war was a...
NLAW is a relatively new system for the Swedish army and so it's still being procured. Pansarskott 86 (AT4) is from the cold war and we still have quite a lot of them left.
No talk about increasing the budget other than maybe accelerating already existing plans. We'll see next week.
Yeah we don't have a lot of NLAW to send. I read somewhere that we only have about 2K in total. Still, AT4 is good enough to take out everything up to and including BMP1/2 and it's VERY easy to use.
The Swedish Government just announced it's sending 135K field rations, 5K helmets, 5K Body protection gear and 5K Anti-tank weapons (Pansarskott 86, known as AT4 outside Sweden). This is a substantial part from the stockpile we have.
In addition to changing it's long standing policy yesterday, of not sending german weapons to countries at war, now the German government announces this:

edit: I did some digging and...
I have an old Define R4 and now using a Define 7. These cases are not built for airflow but rather noise reduction unless you keep the front open which kinda defeats the purpose of the Define series. UNLESS you're using a top mounted AIO, but these cases aren't the best for that either because...
All you have to do is remove the incentives for the illegals to come to the US. Jobs and/or benefits.
Remove the benefits to anyone not a US citizen or green card holder.
Punish business owners SEVERELY for hiring illegals, knowingly or unknowingly doesn't matter. Fines and prison sentences...
Unless my usage scenario changes radically due to some new killer-app/game I don't see myself upgrading from this 4770K until it actually breaks. I bought it almost fresh off the fabs back in 2013 and it still feels brand new.
He's probably just being overly dramatic. But the fact remains that the PC market is shrinking and Intel's push into mobile hasn't gone as planned. I also think ARM will win the IoT emerging market as Intel products are a joke by comparison. By the time they become good the market will already...
As a Swede I can assure you that the "left" are NOT liberals. Left in Sweden, and Europe in general, consist of Social Democrats, Socialists, Communists and Anarchists. They make up about 40-45% of the voting population...
With that said, the "left" are the most outspoken supporters of womens...
AMD mentions ECC for Hierofalcon but not for Bald Eagle in the same press release. Bald Eagle is likely the same die as Kaveri, which does not have ECC since it is targeted for desktop/laptop.
This is straight from AMD's mouth.

"Hierofalcon" is the most interesting product by far announced by AMD. It doesn't mention any TDP, but it does include 8 A57 ARM-cores, 2 64bit DDR3/4 channels with ECC, 10Gb...

For once Intel looks to preempt any serious ARM based attempts at the micro server market. This is quite an impressive little chip. 8 cores, 4xGbE Ethernet, 16x PCIe etc. It will take ARM Cortex A57 based SoC...
Yes.
Have you heard about SPECint/fp_2006 ? Those also test integer and floating point. You get a single score for each. But behind that score lies about a dozen component benchmarks with individual scores all weighed together, with each one properly documented with regard to what is actually...
23 posts before someone asks what exactly it benchmarks, so what exactly does it benchmark? I cannot find any documentation whatsoever. Seriously, isn't anyone else interested in this besides posting and comparing scores? Maybe it's the return of BOGOMIPS?
This happened to me not so long ago. It turned out my GPU heatsink had come loose slightly, no idea how, and the card started throttling under heavy load. It would downclock itself to 300MHz every few seconds until the temps dropped down under the threshold and then back to full clocks again...
If your definition of completely new arch is some arbitrary perf/watt or IPC measurement, on legacy code no less, then I'd say never. If we look at the archs themselves then we've already had 2 radical changes since C2D with Sandy Bridge and Haswell. Nehalem brought some pretty big changes too...
I'd buy it on release day, after reading reviews, if I can find the right motherboard and there isn't severe price gouging. Otherwise I'll wait a week or two. Been waiting a LONG time for this :)
A friend of mine is having that problem, but he's seen in outside Firefox too. He's running a HD7850. The latest driver that works for him is 12.10 IIRC.
