i have no idea, but this guy (and a few people i know in real life) say it like that.
in this video he says it within the first few seconds, and many times after that:
beige can not come back fast enough! i loved it.
when i get a house i'm going to have an old computer temple and set up my beige commodore 64 and maybe get a compaq presario like the one i loved
one of the hard parts was in buying new software... it had to support both mac and windows (because a few industrial machines ran windows-only software)
this is probably less of a problem now, but back then finding end-user software that supported multiple OS was hard. it left us stuck with...
i haven't worked for a company that supported mac os as daily machines in 23 years
back at that company i did half programming/half tech support and i definitely preferred doing support on OS 9/OS X instead of windows
it seemed like less went wrong
i am watching a video by a guy who i thought knew a lot about medicine. but he keeps pronounce ibuprofen as "eye-bee-profen".
i've heard some other people do this and i wondered if it was common or perhaps regional.
how do you say it?
1) free butter when i buy popcorn at the movie theater
2) unlimited breadsticks at any italian restaurant, not just olive garden
3) send me back in time to last thursday night so i can pay my phone bill on time
that's my expectation as well. "screw old people" will probably become a bigger thing over time, with benefits being cut and care becoming extremely expensive.
it's part of why i'm working a job i hate far longer than i might need to. gotta save a ton of money just in case.
we are all old and cranky here lol
now that i've reread your comment, that does sound pretty crazy. i've seen ebay sellers, amazon 3rd party retailers and and some other places absolutely making profit on shipping.
did they calculate and display the shipping price before buying, or only...
i've only watched 2 out of these 30, the truman show and back to the future
actually maybe only the truman show - i think i only saw back to the future 2, not the original
been doing it for 15 years, had about 2 good years and 13 crappy years
but the last year has been one of the worst and it really ramped up in the past couple weeks
yeah just about
but if i could stick with it for 10 or 15 more years i would have a really cushy retirement
provided i don't have a heart attack before that
i want to retire today instead of working for 12 hours... i could afford to do it
but what's the point of life without making as much money as possible
just gotta try to get rid of the constant headache the deadline pressure is giving me
i handled this 80 hour week stuff a lot better when i...
anyone watching the masters?
there's this guy named Åberg and all i can think of when i see his name is Ålkemyst
with 9 holes to go, i think nobody is going to be able to overcome boring and dependable scottie sheffler
