Nvidia uses memory compression technology but I have no idea if that helps cards utilize frame buffer more efficiently. If such a magic technology actually works, then 8GB should be enough for the time being till 1440p resolutions. But I don't know if it helps.
No way it would have been $179 even without mining. It would have replaced 5600xt at $249. That's its natural price point. So AMD is pocketing an extra $79 due to mining.
If you keep the shortage due to miners aside, component prices have gone up 20-25% so that would impact the cost of graphics card by atleast 10%. So if it weren't for pandemic, 6600xt would be $300. Now adding increased component prices into the mix, 6600xt should be $330. So its $50 overpriced...
No its not. Because then why are gaming laptops prices not gone up much? 10-20% increase in prices could be explained by chip shortage but not 200-300% increase.
Almost everything. Bad writing, bad dialogue, aliens looked stupid, every action movie cliché like falling into water from 1000 feet with no damage, helicopters explode on impact, unlimited ammo cheat code, etc. Mary Lynn Rajskub was interesting but they just killed her instead of making her a...
I think this may backfire on them. Over the years, people have been conditioned by marketing to believe that more ram is better so if Nvidia launches 4gb card then it should also reflect in sales because people will buy amd which will have more ram.
Nvidia is going to launch 3050 with 4GB for $250 this year. Nvidia is going backwards. From 6GB in 2016 to 4GB in 2021 for the same price. In 2016, AMD was already providing 8GB for $240 in 2016. Hopefully Nvidia gets called out for this.
Old thread from 2016 - http://www.portvapes.co.uk/?id=Latest-exam-1Z0-876-Dumps&exid=threads/eurogamer-gtx-1060-3-gb-vs-6-gb.2484900/
Some people in the old thread were confident that 3GB would not be an issue in the future while some were sure about it. Although the cards are 5 years old, its obvious which camp has been...
We already have a cartel here in India, the retailers. They are holding the same inflated 3-4X msrp prices despite almost everyone having decent amount of stock. They're trying to milk as much as possible but I don't they should be able to keep this up for too long.
I don't follow any other crypto other than bitcoin but I believe the collpase is temporary as has always been in the past. Bitcoin has a long way way to go. In any case bitcoin mining doesnt really affect gpu prices anyway.
Can someone explain me a bit about Alder Lake as I'm quite confused. Is Alder Lake the successor of Tiger Lake or Jasper Lake?
Like I see some cheap $300-400 laptops have Pentium N6000 which is Jasper Lake, so can Alder Lake be expected in these low budget laptops? Or it will also be on desktops...

AMD Ryzen 5 4600H 15.6" (39.62cms) Full HD IPS Laptop (8GB/512GB SSD/Windows 10/NVIDIA GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6
Would you say this is a good one for a budget of around $850in India.
Should be able to run AAA games at 60fps on Medium-High settings hopefully?
There are used GPUs available for under $100-150 that can still play latest indie and older AAA games games till 2014. So if one is really desperate they can buy a cheap used gpu and use this oppurtunity to clear some of their steam backlog instead of waiting for a higher end card and wanting to...
Very expensive even if it was actually available. 12GB ram looks really great on boxes and marketing. This should ideally be a $250 card. I can see that Nvidia is reserving that price point for 3050Ti
Amazing decision by Nvidia. 1050Ti is God's own favourite graphics card. If God were to come down to Earth and choose only one graphics card, it would probably be a 1050Ti. Amazing efficiency, great architecture, small size.
